Are You Planning A Fall Festival?

Philip Freeman

Are you on the committee for your HOA's fall festival? Perhaps it has recently hit you that fall is just a few weeks away. Think of how rapidly this part of the summer has gone by -- that's just how fast the rest of the summer will pass, too.

Does your committee already have your fall festival plans started? If so, you're a truly organized group. On the other hand, maybe you are just beginning your plans and you are looking for ideas. If that's the case, from arranging for photo booth rental to planning other activities, here are some ideas that might help you:

Photo Booth Rental

How long has it been since you've been in a photo booth? Maybe the last time was when you were a teenager. Maybe you and your best friends used a photo booth at a mall. You might even still have the pictures that were taken on that occasion.

If you rent a photo booth, expect it to be your most popular attraction at the fall festival. The great thing is that the rental will probably be a lot more affordable than you thought it would be. The frosting on the cake is that the rental company will deliver and set up the photo booth. Clear instructions will be given by the person who delivers the photo booth. If you have questions or concerns, those will be addressed as well. When your activity is over, the photo booth will be picked up and taken away.

Additional Activities

While there might be people lined up at the photo booth, of course you'll have other ways to provide some fun at your fall festival. Consider having old-fashioned events like bobbing for apples and fishing booths, where kids can try to get little toys and candies with a pole that has a clothes pin on a string attached to it.

Do you have somebody on the committee who would be happy to be a fortune teller? If so, provide a tent, a table, and a couple of chairs for that purpose. Face painting is always a popular activity as well. Think of having small pumpkins that can be painted -- painting them instead of carving them will eliminate a lot of mess and any injuries made with carving knives. Or, if you think you want people to do old-fashioned carving, be sure to have plenty of kid-friendly carving equipment ready.

Don't be surprised when you see pictures that are taken in the photo booth of face-painted kids with their decorated pumpkins.

About Me
The Secrets To Entertaining Guests, No Matter Who They Are

My name is Natalie Potter and I hope you enjoy my website. I would like to tell you a little about myself. I have spent the past couple of years traveling the world. There are so many wonderful people who have allowed me to stay with them, who have shown splendid hospitality and who have shown me how to enjoy the sights and sounds of their homelands. Now that I will be spending time at home, I have decided to return the favor by reaching out to my international friends. This has offered me the opportunity to improve my hospitality and my ability to entertain guests. Therefore, I have decided to create a blog focused on entertainment and hospitality.
